Quick start
Follow these steps to initialise your device, create a recovery seed and connect to the official suite.

Unbox & inspect
Open the box and check the tamper-evident seal. If the packaging looks tampered with, stop and contact support.

Connect to your computer
Use the supplied USB cable to connect the device. Do not use third-party cables of unknown origin.

Install Trezor Suite
Visit the official app to download the desktop or web version. Always verify the domain and checksum if provided.

Create a new wallet
Follow the on-screen prompts. Write your recovery seed on paper — never store it digitally or photograph it.

Verify & backup
Confirm your seed on the device and keep multiple backups in secure locations (fireproof safe, safe deposit box).
Security tips
- Always download official software from the official domain.
- Never reveal your recovery seed to anyone, or enter it into a computer/phone.
- Enable a PIN on the device and use passphrase protection if you understand its trade-offs.
